Which data sources can I backup?

With airbackup, you can backup files, the system state of PCs, Microsoft Exchange Servers, network shares, Microsoft SQL Servers or MySQL databases.

With airbackup, you can backup folders and files of your devices. Even large files and datasets are no problem. The BackupBoost™ technology enables a fast transfer because of maximum compression and automated deduplication.

System states

Backup the system states of Windows devices. The states contain specific information about the Windows installation and application settings of the device. If you create a backup of your system, you can restore your full Windows installation and all applications, for example, if your hard disk is defective.

Microsoft Exchange Servers

With airbackup, you are able to backup your company's email traffic and contact information. During a backup the databases of your Microsoft Exchange Servers are backed up. A backup is available for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013.

Network shares

With airbackup, you can backup files and folders of your network. Backup up to eight network paths on which, for example, your team stores project results. A hybrid backup of your data to local drives and online – Local SpeedKick™ – enables an even faster restore of a large amount of data.

Microsoft SQL Servers

Backup your Microsoft SQL Servers using airbackup. A backup is available for Microsoft SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012 and 2013.

With airbackup, you can backup your MySQL databases. The client-side end-to-end encryption with AES-256 bit and your personal encryption key enables backups of databases with sensitive information (e. g, account data, or tax records).
